Presales - Team Lead
Role: Senior sales Consultant Workplace Services
Summary of the role
As a Senior Presales Consultant, you will become a lead member of HCL s Digital Workplace Presales team, taking presales ownership of our key opportunities across HCL s existing customer base within the UK and Europe region.
You will collaborate with a team of Solution Architects and Bid Managers, Account teams and Sales leads to develop opportunities to build upon and enhance the solutions or services we currently provide to our existing customers. In this capacity, you will bring thought leadership and define overarching strategies to develop proactive opportunity spanning the Digital Workplace including technology transformation and managed services.
You will engage with customers to provide thought leadership regarding future vision, strategy and solution roadmaps, taking into account their specific industry and business challenges, in order to shape their future Digital Workplace that enables them to achieve their desired business outcomes.
You will lead the design of compelling customer-focused digital platform solutions for large, complex, multi-service line, multi-region opportunities that differentiate HCL from the competition, are profitable and deliverable.
You will oversee proposal and RFP responses, providing input to over-arching strategy and win themes and ensuring responses are cohesive and compelling with clear outcomes defined.
Role Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Work closely with Sales, Service leads and Delivery teams on creating, shaping and solutioning Digital Workplace opportunities
Communicate effectively with customers to understand their challenges and needs and identify opportunities to help them achieve the desired outcomes
Become familiar with HCL s comprehensive Workplace Services offerings and capabilities and craft compelling value-based solutions for our customers
Lead customer meetings and workshops focused on discussing and defining Workplace IT strategy, Roadmap ideation and definition, and insight sessions regarding HCL capabilities future Workplace trends, establishing yourself as a thought-leader and trusted advisor with the customer
Act as the solution lead for key deals, working with our team of Presales Solution Architects and Bid Management to support the creation of justifiable and persuasive proposals that are robust, transparent and based on achievable deliverables and outcomes
When required, work with Technical Solution / Service Architects to define the right delivery approach including processes, methods, tooling and partners to underpin the solution or service design
Be an effective, engaging and persuasive presenter, articulating strategy recommendations, roadmaps, offerings, solutions and RFx responses up to C Level
Experience and Skills
A successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Possess a strong level of curiosity and motivation to continually help our customers to achieve more and demonstrate initiative for enabling continuous evolution of our existing Digital Workplace footprint within our customers.
Have a passion for the industry, specifically EUC technology and Digital Workplace Services and strong awareness of future trends and immerging themes that will shape future strategy and roadmaps.
Hold and retain a strong technical understanding of Workplace / EUC technologies including Microsoft 365, Virtual Desktop solutions, Cloud, etc and be able to articulate the business value and employee experience outcomes that such solutions provide.
