Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Focus on SAP Change & Release Management having worked in complex SAP environments and ensuring all SAP Test and Release are delivered and plan and oversee successful roll out of SAP Changes, able to suggest changes to the SAP landscape with experience of overall view of the SAP landscape, used to work in regulated environments and having a breadth of knowledge within SAP Change & Release Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: 

You have already gained 8-10 years SAP operational experience either in the SAP module Sales and Distribution OR Materials Management. You will work in a global environment within a highly motivated and very international team. As part of the Domain Operations team, you will take over a responsible position in the SAP Operations / Service Management group and provide application support for our worldwide used SAP ERP and S/4 Systems. We are expecting both a solid functional knowledge and the capability to manage our external support partner. Basic SAP ABAP Knowledge and basic SAP BASIS knowledge would be an added advantage to be effective in this role. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • SAP Engineering Operational Support mainly in SAP S/4 and SAP ERP. 
  • Collaborate with our two main support partners - the Service Management Team our market organizations and the external support organization with the aim to provide best-in-class service towards our end users. 
  • Manage, challenge and monitor our first and second level support as close as necessary to ensure a high-quality issue resolution both on time and in quality, in the area of SAP ERP and S/4. 
  • Provide the necessary functional level support and if necessary, take over end to end responsibility with the aim to steer the issue resolution. 
  • Act as the single point of contact for our Service Managers in case of escalations and for the external service organisation. 
  • Utilize your solid SAP ERP and S/4 knowledge and your technical capabilities to manage challenging issues within our SAP systems. 
  • Proactively identify issues and problems within your area and propose mitigation steps. 
  • Take continuous actions to eliminate or reduce underlying root cause in your area of expertise that will directly result in reduction of production issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong SAP ERP OR SAP S/4 Sales and Distribution OR Materials Management functional knowledge. 
  • Working knowledge about ITIL processes is a must. 
  • Knowledge of SAP Basis will be an added advantage. 
  • Knowledge of SAP ABAP will be an added advantage. 
  • Knowledge about the SAP Apparel and footwear industry solution is a plus. 
  • Escalation Management. 
  • Able to analyze issues from a technical angle. 
  • Solution architecture and integration overview of SAP system is a must. 
  • Knowledge about SAP modules like SAP FICO, MDM & HR is a plus. 
  • Identifying Risk ad its mitigation. 
  • Ability to work in an international team environment and coordinate multiple tasks with conflicting priorities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders. 
  • Problem solving aptitude. 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 8 - 10 years of SAP experience in SAP ERP or SAP S/4 SD or MM as a functional consultant out of which at least 2- 4 years in support roles in a global environment 
  • University Degree or comparable education
