We are looking for a Full-stack Software Developer in Jerusalem. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Legonto. The team consists of 5 people and reports to the Developing manager. We have a great skill set in Java and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Angular and Java development.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

Qualified candidates must have:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

2+ years of experience in development with Java.

2+ years of experience in development with Angular.

2+ years of experience with relational databases

It would be great if you also had . . . 

Knowledge and experience with databases (i.e. Cassandra), search engines (Solr), REST, Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat technologies.

Experience with Linux/Unix environments.

What will you be doing in this role?

The Developer’s job includes understanding the requirements defined by the business analysts, designing, and implementing a technical solution, and facilitating testing and rollout of the feature. The work includes developing bug fixes, performance, stability, and long-term maintenance tasks, and communicating with other teams, product owners, and our support analysts.

The product you will be developing 

The developer will be a member of the Leganto Development team, A robust, integrated solution for creating, maintaining, and sharing interactive course resource lists, Leganto optimizes the use of library collections, reduces the administrative burden on faculty, and makes higher education a lot more affordable.

The team is a global team of 5 team members.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model.

This is a full-time position.
