The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

  • Operational monitoring: play the key role in tracking and monitoring KPI, identify any issues or bottlenecks and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
  • Process improvement: work on building and optimizing operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity. This involves tracking and analyzing data, conducting time studies, identifying areas for improvement, and going along with the Operations team to implement process changes or automation solutions.
  • Training and development: help train and develop employees in various operational tasks: equipment operation, sorting techniques, layouts, formula, material, usage and guidance, safety protocols and quality control.
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution: collaborate with Operation team, technician, expert and business supporting team to investigate the root cause and identify solutions, and implement corrective actions
  • Data analysis and Reporting: collect and analyze operational data, visualize the reports, provide insights and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Coordination and Communication: act as a liaison between different functions within Sorting centers and SPX, ensuring information and compliance are well-understood and aligned
  • Equipment planning and supply: create monthly, quarterly and yearly plan of tools, equipment, materials and stationery; continuously measure and monitor the quota, fulfill the needs of the operation team and save cost.
  • In charge of reconciliation and loss control.
  • Handle projects or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the upper management.

Requirements:

  • College degree and above
  • Having at least 2 years of experience in logistic operations or equivalent
  • Strong leadership skills and at least 2 years of experience in managing a team
  • Good at communication (verbal, written and presentation) and problem solving
  • Good at analytical skills and technical skills (familiarity with computer systems, tracking software, and sorting equipment)
  • Having growth mindset and good at change management
  • Shift working base (if required)
