Right now the company is experiencing exciting growth across the country and we are currently seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to join the Weapons product line.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Systems Engineer will apply expertise to support the development and deployment of innovative system solutions supporting a diverse set of complex hardware and software solutions meeting the needs of the customer throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of system design and analysis activities
  • Creation of verification statements for requirements
  • Perform Systems Analysis to derive function, performance and interface requirements
  • Identify project and product risks and escalate, where appropriate
  • Ensure deliverables are consistent with project standards and procedures

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualification in relevant engineering discipline with eligibility for Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng)
  • Experience in Systems Engineering involving one or more of the following: requirements definition, requirements management, analysis, design, verification and validation
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision and deliver completed work on schedule
  • Knowledge of project management milestones coupled with the ability to work autonomously to deliver completed work according to scheduled commitments.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
