The role of the Digital Marketing Analyst will work closely with our digital acceleration team to determine the technology solutions required to enable our digital transformation and making it easy and seamless for customers to do business with us. The successful candidate will work as part of the Technology Group Services (TGS) team which works in a scaled agile product team structure which provides the necessary agility and flexibility required in this ever-changing space by staying abreast of technology solutions to match our ambitious plans, but also to highlight and propose technology solutions in spaces where we see additional opportunities. With a laser focus on simplicity, customer/user experience and engaging and compelling content, this individual will conduct analysis, prepare appropriate solution direction, and deliver solutions and monitor adoption and ongoing utilization. This individual will be required to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external collaborators to ensure that business priorities are delivered. 

This position reports to the Associate Director, Digital Marketing, in the TGS business partner team. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

The objective of this role is to actively partner with all relevant collaborators in TGS, the digital accelerator team and external vendors to complete the associated work deliverables/projects to advance business objectives. Primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Earn value-adding, partner relationship maturity for yourself and for the entire TGS function 
  • Support identification and definition of new opportunities to use technology and/or process re-design to advance business strategies that directly contribute to driving revenue growth, cost optimization and/or risk mitigation and compliance. 
  • Align to strategies for optimal deployment and adoption of new technology capabilities, services, and solutions across the business and/or the end-customers. 
  • Advocate for the business within TGS, and advocate for TGS within the business… act as a representative and accountable party for TGS services across business partners 
  • Work with other TGS business partner teams and external partner teams to define, document, analyze and prioritize existing and emerging business requirements 
  • Complete the projects/improvements/deliverables needed to implement technology, processes, or services to meet business requirements including the documentation, testing and implementation. 
  • Develop cases, technology proposals and drive alignment on priorities and needs across both TGS and Marketing teams. 
  • Work with and facilitate TGS’ partner teams to ensure delivery provides the desired outcomes. 
  • Work with other TGS Business Partners and TGS’ Core Areas of Delivery to ensure that solutions are not siloed and that they are informed by, and are integrated with, BD’s enterprise roadmaps. 
  • Complete projects and report progress, including consistent and effective communication, change management impact analysis, readiness and effectiveness, cutover and launch support. This includes handling partner concerns and mitigating risk 
  • Measure and communicate value realized on a periodic basis through defined and agreed upon metrics and supporting analysis. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic understanding, both business and technology experience, exceptional relationship building skills and solution-oriented mentality together. In addition, this person should also possess: 

  • 5+ years of experience in a business including work in one or more of the following technology areas: sales, marketing or customer service, preferably within a FDA regulated environment. 
  • Experience in system development life cycle documentation, testing and release cycle protocols including business requirements documentation, test scenarios/data/execution, cutover, hypercare, project planning and status reporting 
  • Proficiency in project management basics: charter, case development, project management plan and schedule, collaborator management, communication planning, risk/issue management, status reporting and running team calls 
  • Ability to communicate complex business / technical challenges in a simplified manner 
  • Basic experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies 
  • Ability to influence change using positive and collaborative methods 
  • Highly collaborative work style which includes working effectively across all organizational levels 
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and in overcoming ambiguity 
  • Leading by example, mentoring, and motivating others all around you 
  • Analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities 
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making 
  • Able to align and work with diverse regional partners 
  • Strong humility, listening, creativity, and negotiation skills 
  • Accept ownership and accountability 

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business or equivalent relevant work experience required.
