About the Role

The Aftermarket Team Lead manages the Anhydro AM spares team and is responsible to secure the Anhydro AM business which is based on proven methods that meet or exceed customer needs. AM Engineers are the bridge between the commercial function, the project delivery team, supply chain, channels, customers, and service execution, collaborating across these functions to build a robust proposal deliverable to the customer.

The Aftermarket team may also assist the commercial team to identify technical specifications of customers and to present our solution.

The Anhydro Aftermarket Team Lead will make sure the team follows all SPX FLOW internal processes and procedures, and ensure that proposals, which could include costs estimates, proposal text and reliable lead times, are completed in a compliant and timely manner.

About Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Anhydro Aftermarket team. Build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial function to ensure customer requirements are clearly defined and understood, and that a detailed RFQ analysis has been completed as required.
  • Understands and follows all SPX FLOW N&H internal governance and proposal approval processes.
  • Ensure scope is defined clearly and accurately, as required in accordance with customer and corporation request.
  • Use calculation software for equipment sizing if necessary.
  • Create quotations for Anhydro spares, Atomizer and as future step rebuilds.
  • Build relationships with other internal departments to obtain the necessary sub-quotations or cost estimates.
  • Consult Suppliers in accordance with Supply Chain Management IDEF processes and procedures.
  • Identify and share all potential risks during governance gates events (cost, scope, KPI's, etc.).
  • Support completion and review of all documents required for LEAF/LOAF submission.
  • Support completion of final quotation document and the associated handover pack and participate in Systems and Execution Handover meetings.
  • Ensure proposals are submitted to internal and external customers in a right and performant timing.
  • Log all cost, price, and scope changes between quotation revision.
  • Collect and escalate all remarks, concerns, ideas from the team.
  • Control and lead the order handling process.
  • Report on KPIs (order intake, Hitrate quotes, Opportunity/Quotation follow up).
  • Secure correct data and timely processing in C4C (Tickets, Opportunities).

What Do You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 - 5 years’ related industry experience; education and/or training in Proposals, Process Engineering or Project Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of process categories of the Nutrition & Health industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with a CRM and ERP systems (C4C and SAP preferred).
  • Financial awareness and understanding of key cost components and margin build up.
  • Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Result oriented and customer focused.
  • Ability to guide others to accomplish work objectives. Plan and support the development of individual skills and abilities of team members.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

  • Technical knowledge and experience in evaporation and drying equipment.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Knowledge of the SPX FLOW Product range.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental awareness.
  • Knowledge of another language such as French, Spanish, Danish and/or German.
