The role:

The Social Media AD is responsible to create appealing content for the company’s social media presence, including maintaining social media channels updated and brand-focused, and looking for new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences. This position involves a complete secondment to the client's side, with responsibilities including team management.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage company social media content development for channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter and some other platforms.
  • Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms..
  • Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation.
  • Cover events.
  • Work as part of a team to develop large social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.
  • Analyze and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects on a monthly basis.
  • Manage social media communications.
  • Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in managing a team.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic
  • Prior experience in working for the banking sector and dealing with customer services/ customer complains platform is a plus.
  • Must reside in Abu Dhabi or be willing to relocate.
