ROLE DESCRIPTION

As part of the Global People Success Services organization Local HR Services Germany is responsible for a wide range of administrative Human Resources services for 29.600+ employees of SAP in Germany. We resolve employee and manager requests, consult them, and carry out operational HR administration across the employee life cycle (e. g. contractual changes, references, consultation for maternity and parental leave as well for part time, support of the termination process). We also take care of the extension of student contracts.

This position is based in SAP Services/ Prague as part of the HR Shared Service Center and is assigned to the Local HR services team Germany.

Key responsibilities

Handle and take responsibility for processes and questions relating to personnel administration (e.g. supplements to employment contracts, certificates, references)

  • Facilitate the regular onboarding sessions including holding presentations for new hires in English and German, virtually as well as face-to-face
  • Answer queries of employees and managers via HR ticket, E-mail, or phone
  • Contact partner and provide administrative support for HR business partners, managers, and employees in all issues relating to labor law
  • Work closely with other teams within the HR organization, personnel officers, works council and different specialist departments within SAP
  • Participating in projects and special activities
  • Work with other team members and other Local HR Service team members of Local HR Services EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) sharing knowledge on topics that are either a current specialist topic or require learning

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Business or commercial apprenticeship and further training as an HR business clerk, or degree in business administration, specializing in Human Resources.
  • Professional communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Customer oriented
  • Quality driven, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Flexible / adaptable
  • Ability to work in international teams where team members are in different locations and belong to different cultures
  • Work well on own initiative and independently without supervision, must be self driven and motivated.
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Good knowledge of HR processes
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • English & German language skills written and spoken fluently is essential
