As part of the Digital Finance organization, our team focuses on creating, configuring, and operating digital products, platforms, and solutions that facilitate Pfizer's core finance functions. This includes areas such as Financial Consolidations, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, and Internal and External Reporting.

As a Senior Manager in the Solution Engineer role, you will lead the transformation of the Portfolio on Demand (PoD) application into an enterprise product. PoD is a project portfolio management solution that enables businesses to identify, select, plan, and manage project portfolios with automated reports and dashboards, enhancing portfolio visibility. In this hands-on technical position, you will oversee the seamless integration of PoD into the enterprise ecosystem. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define and implement enhancements while providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the process.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a comprehensive understanding of budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes, along with their practical application in solving intricate business challenges. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based solutions using AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFront.
• Collaborate with development teams to architect, build, and deploy .NET/React JS applications on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams on best practices for deploying .NET/React JS applications on AWS, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of AWS cloud-based applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance scalability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards when designing and deploying AWS cloud solutions, including secure network architectures, encryption, and access control.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the deployment and operation of .NET/React JS applications on AWS, collaborating with support and development teams as needed.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of appropriate AWS services, frameworks, and tools for specific project requirements, considering factors such as performance, cost, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as DevOps, software engineering, and data engineering, to ensure seamless integration and operation of .NET/React JS applications within the AWS cloud environment.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for escalated technical issues, troubleshooting complex problems, and collaborating with support teams to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
• 7 years of demonstrated experience working in development and/or support teams
• 3 year of demonstrated experience with AWS Technology
• Understanding of core AWS Services, Architecture, and Best Practices
• Experience in Developing, Deploying and Debugging AWS Cloud-based applications
• Ability to use the AWS Service API, AWS CLI, and SDKs
• Ability to interact with the AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, and others
• 3 years of experience with .NET, ReactJS and Angular
• Experience with database technologies (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, Aurora)
• Experience with ETL Tools (Informatica, Talend, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational andtime management capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills in building customer relationships
• Ability to work independently and or in a global team setting across time zones.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Pharmaceutical life science domain experience
• Exposure to Finance reporting applications
• Project Management expertise in managing multiple projects
• Familiar with SDLC/Agile methodologies
• Exposure to DevOps processes
• AWS certification
