About Rippling
Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.
Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.
The Unity Platform team is responsible for the products and frameworks that showcase the value of seamlessly integrating HR, IT, Finance, and third-party applications together into one unified platform, which we call Rippling Unity. The team owns application building blocks like reporting & data visualization, automated workflows, permissions, approvals, policies, search, notifications, and a unified data platform that powers it all. Unity products include components that are leveraged and embedded in other Rippling products, along with full-stack Unity products that are used by end Rippling customers. In this role, you will lead the frameworks and extensible product components for customers to build policies across Rippling products. There are several flavors of business application policies, including access policies, validation rules, approval policies, spend policies, and routing/assignment rules. Policies are a fundamental building block across applications, and Rippling's platform approach allows us to build a robust suite of policy frameworks that can be leveraged across Rippling products. Rippling's policy engines are built upon Rippling Query Language (RQL) and the employee graph, providing customers with exceptional configurability in defining the policies that represent their business requirements.
If you don’t necessarily meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply because skills can be used in lots of different ways, your life experience is equally important sometimes.
