The role of Finance EPM Analyst (System Analyst) is responsible for maintaining and

developing the Group EPM system (Oracle EPM Cloud), working with Finance teams

across the Group as well as the IT Department.

The successful candidate will ensure that current requirements continue to be met

and will be responsible for incremental development work. The role will also support

the reporting teams in troubleshooting issues encountered during monthly, quarterly

and annual reporting cycles and will act as a subject matter resource, providing

training where required.

The successful candidate will also play an instrumental role in Flutter's Finance

System transformation, which will involve support current EPM Cloud solutions

(Planning, ARCS, FCCS, EDM, Tax Reporting, Narrative Report) as well as expanding

the current scope of Financial Consolidation and Reconciliation modules.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful implementation and hand over to operations of the Enterprise Performance Management system/solutions (Planning & Budgeting, Consolidation, Management Reporting, Account reconciliation, etc.)
  • Responsible for all stages of projects from design through testing and post Go Live support
  • Utilize finance process and system knowledge and expertise in designing the Finance solutions to refine and enhance solution designs based on industry standards and global best practices
  • Actively manage/participate in planning, implementation and tracking of specific short, mid and long-term projects from conception to implementation; develops projects plans, milestones and ensures projects are delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Provide support for users on month-end/quarterly/year-end Finance closing, Budget/Forecast, Long Term Plan cycles and managerial reporting processes EPM Systems administration & support
  • Work with business users and support EPM processes and day-to-day activities for Consolidation, Tax, Account reconciliation and Reporting
  • Ensure the overall availability and performance of the EPM system and take preventive/corrective actions as necessary
  • Help manage EPM infrastructure, which includes cloud applications (SAAS) and Oracle OCI infrastructure
  • Driving data quality and integrity in Hyperion and Reporting systems; understanding the data relationships and data flows between various systems including Oracle Ebs, RedShift and EPM
  • Build and maintain business rules, data loads, task lists, batch jobs, automation and scripts
  • Develop calculation scripts, web forms and reports
  • Analyse data and create reports on SmartView and Financial Reporting
  • Applications tuning and processes optimisation
  • Conduct training about the Hyperion system to end users
  • Collaborate on the EPM systems roadmap, Data & BI
  • Maintain and Develop ETL processes, mainly with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)and PL/SQL, to move/integrate data between operational systems and production applications
  • Proactively identify and analyse improvements in processes and assist management in implementation
  • Development and maintenance of reports and dashboards
  • Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes

Collaboration with stakeholders

  • Ability to understand and bridge the gap between business requirements and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Business partners in preparation and during Budget/Forecast cycles
  • Support users within the EPM community and in the wider business enabling Hyperion functionalities to be leveraged in an efficient manner across the business
  • Interacting and engaging with senior leaders across many functions ensuring their needs are met
  • Collaborating effectively and actively with key business partners to identify and implement continuous process and system improvements to drive business initiatives
  • Supporting system training programs and conducting training sessions to global business users
  • Active role in coaching and developing junior team members to inspire excellence and continue to expand the knowledge base

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Knowledge in Datawarehouse and Reporting systems
  • Experience with SQL
  • Knowledge in script languages (e.g.: Groovy)
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience with relational & multidimensional databases, data integration anddata transformation
  • Proactivity and innovation - capacity to take the initiative to identify improvements in processes and assist management in implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player
  • Flexible, enjoying a frequently changing and fast paced environment
  • You are motivated to learn new technologies and expand your functional and technical expertise to other Oracle EPM Cloud products.
