Role Overview:

Now, let’s get to the details. This role will have ownership of establishing and executing against a Sales operating model to support the annual planning and weekly/quarterly rhythm of the business. This includes:

  • Business Partner and Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as a business partner and SME for 1-2 customer facing managers (sales, support) for planning, analysis and reporting for the Global ShareFile business leveraging data to inform & drive business decisions
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish a regular engagement cadence with critical cross-functional stakeholders such as IT, Sales Systems, Finance, Compensation, Enablement, and BI to serve as the voice of the business providing requirements, influence solutioning and shepherd execution as needed
  • Annual Planning: Owner of elements of the annual planning process and serve as a core stakeholder driving the annual transition/planning. Depending on customer facing stakeholder partnership, responsibilities may include territory assignment, quota setting, compensation & incentive planning, support alignment, lead flow definition, pipeline/goal setting, change management, etc.
  • Business KPI: Define KPIs and targets, automate, and proactively monitor the business. Leverage insights to mitigate risk and drive action with customer facing leadership teams
  • Forecast Management: Partner with Sales Executive and own process to capture weekly global forecast and track process including identification of weekly risks and strengths based on pipeline, coverage, create, trials, conversions and other critical KPIs
  • Quarterly Sales Cadence: Own monthly & quarterly closing activities. Support post close responsibilities including supporting & participating in quarterly business reviews with Sales
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes
  • Continuous Improvement & Automation: Take a continues improvement lens to all sales processes, manual reports, dashboards, KPIs, etc. Suggest improvements and work with leadership teams to implement

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in analyst/sales operations roles
  • Expert data and reporting skills for quantitative analysis & data sharing including experience with Microsoft Excel, Salesforce dashboards, Business Intelligence Object reporting, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI. Financial modeling a plus. Experience with R, Python a plus
  • Experience with Sales Systems & Sales Enablement Tools (SAP, Hybris, Salesforce, ServiceCloud)
  • Demonstrated success working with and presenting to leadership
  • Ability to flex schedule to accommodate multiple time zones & support end of quarter requirements
