We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team onsite in Hamburg or remotely within the EU.

Our Tech Department is the heart of SCAYLE, driven by the passion to develop the best infrastructure & applications. You will work on high-scalable products on a cloud-based infrastructure and collaborate with developers who constantly challenge themselves to raise the bar of what is “state of the art” technology.

In your role as a Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) at Scayle, you will be essential in driving customer support and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will involve diagnosing and solving issues from our customers, a key part of our software-as-a-service offerings. You’ll work in diverse technical environments, working with PHP within our digital ecosystem. This position not only places you at the heart of our SaaS operations but also offers continuous opportunities for learning and advancement in new technologies, fostering your growth into an expert technologist.

Challenges the team will be working on:

  • Continuously upgrading customer support to align with emerging tech trends and evolving customer needs.

What you will do

  • Passionately engaging in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Providing support for enterprise applications, drawing from your experience in this area.
  • Tackling technical challenges with an innovative and outside-the-box mindset.
  • Demonstrating creativity, high energy, and a fervent desire for success.
  • Utilizing strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and strategies.
  • Exhibiting self-motivation and maintaining a strong work ethic.
  • Acting as a hands-on team player, taking proactive steps and initiatives.
  • Sharing knowledge with colleagues, contributing to team learning, and making suggestions for product improvements.

Who you are:

  • Having a university degree in a tech-related field or similar practical experience and training.
  • Prior experience in working with SaaS (Software as a Service) applications and their underlying infrastructure.
  • 3 or more years of related technical experience in supporting or developing PHP-based applications.
  • Proficiency in software support and troubleshooting.
  • Capability in writing and debugging complex PHP applications.
  • Experience with various database technologies.
