As a Barkley IT Data Analyst you will work closely with the operations team (Finance, HR, Project & Resource Management) to develop data infrastructure and insights. You will be immersed into a full data lifecycle, requirements, design and analysis.This includes integrating various data sources of truth (HRIS, ERP, PM) into Snowflake Data Warehouse and implementing creative visualizations in PowerBI for stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SQL, Python, Matillion and Snowflake to extract and analyze data from various sources.
  • Perform data transformation and cleansing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Create insightful and comprehensive reports based on data analysis.
  • Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI for effective data visualization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements.
  • Continuously optimize and automate reporting processes for efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements and processes into presentable insights.
  • Collaborate with the IT Data Engineer on infrastructure, design, analysis and best practices.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and report writing.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience in data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certifications or experience (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Engineering).
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  • Deep understanding of Financial Concepts and Reporting
  • Experience with stakeholder dashboard & reporting design
