Key Responsibilities & Experience Range

As a member of the IT team, the candidate will utilize prior work experience in both the investment and technical domains to provide solutions to end users. On a day to day basis, the job may entail working as a team to develop data oriented solutions, enhancement to our reporting solutions, build sustainable operating model or interacting with our business partners to prioritize and gather requirements on future initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be:

• A self-starter with excellent organizational, time and relationship management skills.
• Very detail oriented with ability to work with both Developers and Business users.
• Develop oneself into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Technical & Domain areas.
• Able to take responsibility of informing managers about potential issues on a timely basis using strong and clear communication.
• Able to review existing processes/procedures and suggest improvements.
• Ability to adapt to agile methodologies, quick self-learner.
• Able to lead projects with minimal guidance and should show complete ownership of deliverables.

Skills & Knowledge

Qualification & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree is a requirement; Computer Science or Information Technology preferred.
• 12+ years of development experience in technology and/or data functions in financial services or consulting industry.

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• Hands on experience in developing technology and/or data functions in financial services or consulting industry.
• Hands on development in Python, PL/SQL, Spark, SQL, scripting, autosys.
• Hands on experience in cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift or Spark based data engineering solutions such as AWS Databricks.
• Proven architectural experience to deliver data warehousing projects with strong understanding of ETL and Data warehousing concepts.
• Proven project experience in dealing with security reference data for capital markets.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

• Demonstrate architectural understanding and problem solving abilities to design/build complex data oriented solutions.
• Candidates with good understanding of ESG domain or with relevant work experience will have advantage over others.
