Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the FTMO lead in setting global strategic direction and best practice for process design, delivery and operating model, policies and control, improvement opportunities and performance measurements of the finance process
  • Analyze Program and Project KPIs, ensuring focus on Return On Investment and ability to track investment costs and benefits throughout the project 
  • Assist with the coordination of weekly status meetings to review project progress, identify risks/issues, interdependencies, and communicate updates with project teams
  • Work with the project leaders to understand updates on respective initiatives and gather inputs for monthly Transformation Management Office (TMO) meetings 
  • Monitor the progress of projects, timely delivery of project milestones, and identification and monitoring of project risks
  • Help workstream teams to input project plans into ADO tool and continue to refine PBI dashboards to support stakeholders decision-making processes
  • Align with IT PM to ensure tracking and meeting milestone requirements in preparation for stage gate reviews and receiving stakeholder approvals 
  • Partner with various stakeholders including global finance leaders, IT, HR, and GFS GPOs to support delivery of current programs that align with business needs and priorities 
  • Support stakeholders with the change management process through training, communication, lessons learned, and key insights 
  • Facilate the repository of program documentation, ensuring key stakeholders have access 
  • Work with the external implementation partner to leverage best practices and ensure alignment with Emerson team 

Additional Position Information/Details

Required Education & Experience:

  • BSBA degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration required 
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field in the Financial Services industry is required with a strong background in a global role
  • Knowledge of Emerson Finance architecture and systems
  • Knowledge of financial reporting processes and understanding of finance functions
  • Advanced proficiency in digital tools and Microsoft Office products
  • Project management or PMO experience in using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor and report on concurrent, multiple projects. Agile, Scrum methodology preferred.

Desired Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • PMP and/or CA, CPA, ACA or CFA certifications a plus
