Job Purpose : Lead contracting of all project through centralized process to leverage economies of scale and ensure timely and quality delivery of services to respective project sites

Role Challenges:

• The budgets are usually very tight and are based on the best of the costings. It becomes a challenge to bring the costs within the projected B0 project cost
• There are often disputes or issues with the contractors during project execution. The role is expected to keep a balance between the interests of the contractor as well as the organisation.
• In case contractor leaves in between, finding another one to fill in the shoes at the same cost is a daunting task without impacting the overall project cost

Principal Accountabilities

1.Finalize the Contractor and Conclude the Pan India (site) contracts within budget and tracker timelines

2.Create a database of approved quality vendors and update the master data once every half year

3.Lead & develop a motivated team and build team capability for improved performance on a continuous basis

4.Work with the IT team to upgrade the SAP to improve system efficiency and / or improved analytics

5.Do contract packaging planning for the year for all projects to finalise inputs for the yearly budgets in time

6.To build relationship with the vendors and closely review and monitor their performance to continuously improve the performance of the vendors

7.Manage closure of the Contract post completion of the works in a manner that safeguards company against any liabilities arising out of the same
