This role builds and maintains effective relations between IT and internal business management to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives. Understands internal customers and their businesses, assesses opportunities, challenges, and weaknesses facing the internal business community and serves internal client needs in keeping pace with the dynamics of the business.

Actively identifies new technological opportunities that will help achieve incremental or step change improvements in business processes.

Cutting edge solution provider in Data Management, Analytics & AI along with being a relationship building partner between all business functions & cross functional IT domains. 

The Data & AI excellence leader will formulate and implement data & AI strategies and roadmaps along with formulating and implementing strategies for managing & using data and AI to achieve business objectives, improve decision-making, and drive innovation opportunities along with driving a data culture within the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Work with business leadership and stakeholders in the efficient and cost-effective delivery of data & AI solutions to address business issues
  • Work on complex business requirements and provide highly innovative solutions using domain expertise to enable quality decision making along with managing & deploying solutions to ensure data integrity across all Garrett applications. 
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress, decision-making and prioritization
  • Foster partnerships and collaborations with internal & external stakeholders and industry peers to share data, knowledge, and best practices.
  • Data & AI
  • Drive data-driven culture within the organization in line with strategy by promoting data literacy and awareness, and encouraging the use of data and AI in decision-making.
  • Work with business leaders to Identify and prioritize use cases for Data & AI, and assess their feasibility, potential impact, and resource requirements.
  • Build the necessary data and AI capabilities within the organization, including data governance, data quality, data management, and machine learning.
  • Lead a team of data scientists, analysts, data architect and engineers to develop and deploy analytics solutions that deliver measurable business value.
  • Manage & implement the organization's data governance, data quality, and data management processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security along with ethical use of AI technologies
  • Develop and implement data visualization and reporting frameworks to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to data privacy, security, and accessibility. 
  • Project, Risk & Change Management
  • Actively coordinate all phases of project from concept, project planning, development, execution, monitoring to project closure
  • Drive change management and be key in implementing change in the organization
  • Track program KPIs and metrics, and assist with reporting on those metrics to stakeholders 
  • People Leadership & Organizational/ Capability Development
  • Identification of required strategic vs commodity skills within Data & AI Excellence and definition of sourcing depth of related tech services
  • Implement sourcing measures including right sourcing and right shoring to build up such capabilities
  • Establish a culture of passion for change, digital technologies, adopting agile practices both internally as well as with other IT teams and vendors

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or data management
  • Min 10 years of direct experience in IT and business partnership roles
  • Proven leadership experience with credible strong potential for higher level management
  • High degree of passion, positivity, willingness for constructive conflict, strong people focus
