We are currently seeking a Sr. VR Technical Artist to join our Digital Modeling team. As an ideal candidate, you must exhibit a positive attitude and be passionate about creating quality work. You should be able to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced, highly creative environment.

The Role:

• Have a creative passion for creating and implementing world class interactive Real-tTme and VR experiences
• Set up the visual character of a scene including world building, camera composition, lighting, rigging, and animation
• Set up technical aspects of the scene including optimizing poly counts and draw calls, creating UV maps, scanning and setting up materials
• Be a great communicator and collaborator, willing to challenge yourself to learn new tools and improve your skillset whilst collaboratively implementing the vision of a wide spectrum of teams including Design, Brand and CMF

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a visualization or game design role as a Real-Time Artist, preferably with experience or exposure to vehicles
• 3+ yrs of extensive knowledge of Blueprints in Unreal Engine 5
• Experience developing Unreal VR/AR experiences in a professional environment
• Proficiency in building unique 3D environments
• An eye toward efficiency and speed or an understanding of automated CAD pipelines
• A passion for researching and creating future trends in real-time visualization

Preferred

• Knowledge of Python or C++ is a plus
• Familiarity with VRED, Maya, Blender, or Cinema4D is a plus

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$130,600—$179,630 USD
