Main accountabilities, responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Most senior Sales person in the region – connects with customer Head of Purchasing & Strategy for Passive Safety
  • Accountability for and control of customer interface such as customer relationship and customer insight
  • Ensures all P&L related KPIs are aligned with the Division and drives execution within the Sales-Team
  • Accountability for acquiring profitable new business and managing pre- & post-launch profitability
  • Owns and executes customer strategy in alignment with the Division & Business Units 
  • Ensures growth of market share and content per vehicle by creating robust battle plans with the global customer team
  • Responsible for the alignment of the product strategies of the Division with the customer strategy 
  • Having responsibility for all sales resources dedicated to the account globally & responsibility for target setting and performance measurement

Required skills and experience / main competencies : 

  • Ability to provide strong and pro-active sales and commercial guidance for account 
  • Strong leadership and matrix skills with team spirit and global view
  • Vision/Ability to drive customer strategy forward and to win profitable business 
  • Strong analytical thinking and business acumen
  • Strong (global) networking and coordination/cooperation skills
  • Deep understanding of automotive business, market trends, innovation
  • Proficient in Japan and English, both oral and written
