About the Role 

We are seeking a Business Development Representative who is passionate about being part of a team that operates at the intersection of cloud technology and cybersecurity. This role is pivotal in generating top-of-the-funnel activity and working seamlessly with our marketing team to develop impactful campaigns, thereby setting the stage for our sales team by efficiently booking meetings with potential clients. 

This role provides multiple pathways for career progression, including the opportunity to manage the business development function or transition into full account executive roles. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute outreach campaigns. 
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through targeted campaigns. 
  • Proactively engage with prospects through emails, calls, and social media platforms. 
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between potential clients and the sales team. 
  • Track and report on campaign performance, providing insights for optimization. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ekco's services and offerings. 
  • Participate in industry events and webinars to network and generate leads. 
  • Foster relationships with potential clients to build a pipeline for future sales. 

About You 

  • Experience in a business development or similar role, preferably in the IT or cloud services sector. 
  • Demonstrated ability in generating leads and booking meetings. 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing and sales teams. 
  • Analytical mindset to evaluate and improve campaign effectiveness. 
  • Adaptability and eagerness to keep abreast of the latest developments in cloud technology and cybersecurity.
