Job Description

We are pleased to announce an opening for a tenure track faculty position in pediatric oncology at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position is a joint recruiting effort between the Darby Children’s Research Institute in the Department of Pediatrics, the Hollings Cancer Center, and the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. We are searching for a physician scientist committed to performing research and providing outstanding clinical care in pediatric oncology. Areas of research interest within this discipline include tumor immunology, cancer genes and molecular regulation, genomics and epigenomics, cancer therapeutics, metabolism, and tumor microenvironment, but other areas will be considered.

Applicants must have a MD, DO or MD, PhD with a record of research accomplishments and peer reviewed publications.

Successful candidates will be expected to maintain a vigorous, nationally-recognized translational research effort.
