Job Description :

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

The purpose of the role is to provide support multiple units in the clusters by implementing quality standards & processes, conducting periodic audits, Liquid Quality assurance, quality systems. Providing trainings on quality SOPs to the unit quality team. RM/PM Prior approvals of the Cluster sites.

TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

Qualification: • Graduate or equivalent - preferably in Microbiology/Bio-chemistry/Bio-technology or any scientific discipline

Experience: • 2 - 5 years of experience in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Systems on Food Processing / FMCG –Distillery, Brewery and Beverage Industry

Knowledge & skills: • Hands on experience and in depth knowledge of quality management systems, adhering quality related SOPs and its control

  • Experience in handling quality improvement projects
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office package, SAP

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYPERFORMANCE MEASURES (QUANTITATIVE / QUALITATIVE)

1Quality Operations

  • Responsible for playing a pivotal role in executing the quality strategy and standards in collaboration with Cluster TPO Sites
  • Fortnightly visit to Cluster TPO sites for Liquid Quality assurance & Sensory trainings
  • Advise and provide support to unit quality team on quality improvement initiatives in order to improve quality performance
  • Carryout Round robin to improve Unit Sensory panel Capability - Quarterly
  • Lead root cause identifications and problem solving for issues that occur on quality at units
  • Responsible for developing the capability of unit quality team on systems 
  • Engage with unit quality teams for the implementation of quality standards
  • Conduct audits for quality control and assurance at units (Liquid Audit & GFPS Validation)
  • Advise and provide direct support for innovation/renovation through start-up, qualification and implementation
  • Complaint Handling and Closure, CAPA verification within timelines.• Liquid quality compliance
  • On-shelf quality index
