Your Mission

Based in Morges, Switzerland, the Project Engineer performs a wide range of duties in project management and in engineering.

Engineering:

• Power cable modeling and implementation in Omnisens solutions
• Design and optimization of project solution to support Project managers and Sales
• Commissioning remotely of Omnisens monitoring systems and associated tasks, including preparation and reporting
• Periodic analysis and reporting of monitoring systems in operation
• Advanced training of end user and service partners at Omnisens or at their site
• Transfer of new technologies from R&D to Operations

Project Management:

• Organization and supervision of service team during installation and commissioning of onsite activities, including related documentation
• Management and follow-up of projects, including related documentation
• Internal reporting of progress, revenue, and cost
• Effectively applying internal methodology and enforcing project standards
• Meeting with Customer at Omnisens or at their site for system validation, project review, etc.

Your Skills

• High analytical skills
• Knowledge in HV power cable
• Knowledge and interest in programming, Matlab and/or Python scripting is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, teamwork oriented, self-motivated, stress tolerant and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Professional and customer-oriented appearance and behavior
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Engineering or Project Engineering
• Experience in Power Cable design, Energy projects or in Fiber Optics technology is a plus
• Willing to travel moderately at relatively short notice

Language

• Fluent written and spoken English and French
• German or Spanish is an asset
