The Area Northern Sumatra team is a young/established/longstanding team responsible for managing supply and demand in all Northern Sumatra Area. As we are experiencing tremendous growth across the city, the market ecosystem is in the middle of major disruption, and one of the keys of success is to understand insight from drivers, customers, sellers related categories, then defining opportunities and directions to navigate the business forward. Get to know the role:

We are looking for an Area Controller to help the Area taking strategic decision by providing in-depth analysis of driver, passengers, and other Area’s key metrics.

The Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Generate business insights through data analysis, and provide recommendations to improve business performance accordingly
  • Manage profit and loss statement of the region
  • Work closely with Area & Territory leaders and in driving Area strategy planning by processing local insight and combine it with data analysis
  • Develop business plan and translate it to action items, collaborate with other stakeholders, determine success metrics, and provide the result takeaways
  • Go-to person for any new products/service launch

Qualifications

The Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor graduate preferably Information System, statistics and Engineering
  • Proficient in data processing and visualization with excel, SQL, Tableau, and power BI
  • Coding using R, python and other tools for statistical analysis is a plus point!
  • Able to make key business decisions or provide solid recommendation based on data/analytical thinking
  • 4H Grab principle Heart, Hunger, Honour and Humility is a must
  • Strong in stakeholders management, problem-solving, logical and analytical thinking skills
