Join our cutting-edge Technology Consulting team in Bratislava as a Senior Java Developer(m/f), spearheading transformative strategies, revolutionizing organizations' technology capabilities, and addressing their most critical challenges.
Our team specializes in planning and implementing technology-enabled solutions, creating agile operating models, and leveraging digital analytics to enhance customer experiences and optimize business operations. Be a key contributor to our passionate team, playing a pivotal role in the continued growth of our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and document tailor-made multi-tier applications at an enterprise level.
- Collaborate efficiently with a team of industry-leading engineers and business analysts to deliver high-quality enterprise applications.
- Draft technical specifications for various stages of the implementation project.
- Implement integrations with third-party applications/data sources.
- Utilize workflow, document management, content management, portal systems, and relevant frameworks.
- Actively participate in the RFP process and prepare the necessary technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in Software Development using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.).
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
- Experience with web application development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of RESTful web services and API design.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with front-end development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle) and continuous integration (CI) tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, and professional manner (both in English and in Greek).
- Commitment to providing excellent quality work and building client relationships.
