Lead Marketing Data Scientist

Description -

Working within the Advanced Analytics group at HP, you will provide technical expertise and leadership in the development of models and algorithms to provide strategic marketing recommendations. We are looking for a technical leader with mastery of the data science domain for Marketing Science, including strong skills with R and Python. The ideal candidate will have expertise in architecting solutions for multi-touch attribution and marketing mix modeling, including hands-on experience with linear programming for optimization problems. To drive our team forward, the candidate will also be responsible for building and deploying web applications using frameworks such as Shiny, Flask or React. Further, we're looking for someone with an innate sense of curiosity and a passion for elegant solution architecture.

What you will be doing:

• Lead multiple complex projects including coordination with stakeholders and data engineering teams. 
• Build framework for effective and efficient delivery of results. 
• Drive innovation in statistical models for marketing science. 
• Be an engine in the data science domain by keeping up with technology and trend shifts. 
• Prepare and present results to senior leadership. 

What we are looking for:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Biology, Computer Science, or equivalent. 
• Typically 10+ years' experience – it might be also graduate or postgraduate research. 
• Experience with linear programming in an operations research framework.
• Mastery of the R and Python programming languages for data manipulation, visualization, and statistical model development. 
• Experience building software packages. 
• Experience with web application frameworks such as Shiny, Streamlit and/or React. 
• Ability to do ‘data science dev ops’ on distributed cloud-computing data science platforms. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
