We have a new opportunity for you to join our team Automation Solutions and Final Control team as a Field Service Engineer. You will be responsible for all sales activities to achieve the agreed Sales, Bookings, Gross Profit and strategic targets for the agreed product lines and services in the agreed sales territory or industry of responsibility.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Seek new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to new customers and industries.
  • Actively visit existing customers to share with them the assigned product lines, entire product portfolio and services and negotiate relevant Business Contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority – including discount, price and volume structures.
  • Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization and supervise, ensure and personally support the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transaction.
  • Participate in trade shows, fairs, conferences, striving to promote the sale of products, solutions, services and continuously drive the improvement of customer's happiness by understanding, presenting and performing solutions to their needs.
  • Maintain and continuously develop high level of products and technologies knowledge required to perform the job.
  • Report regularly to the direct supervisor on market trends, competition strategies and customer behaviors which may affect the Emerson business strategies.
  • Report on quotation and project potential through specific tools and other reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure that all transactions are accurately screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and raise any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering degree or comparable technical education and a minimum of 3 years sales experience in the industrial market.
  • Be a committed, self motivated, results driven sales person.
  • Be a teammate willing to work with other sales people in the region and globally.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Willing to travel in the region and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Previous sales experience and familiarity in selling Control Valves, Isolation Valves and Pressure and Safety Relief Valves is considered an advantage.
  • Business development experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
