The Senior Implementation Consultant role

Qlik is looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant to be part of Qlik’s Consulting Services team. We are all about accelerating the success of our customers, partners, and employees. We provide the training, support and consulting needed to successfully develop, deploy, and use Qlik.

How you will spend your time as our next Senior Implementation Consultant in Canberra

• Developing and sustaining new client relationships and helping to enhance the reputation of Qlik Consulting as trusted advisor.
• Playing an active role in helping to develop our client’s BI core capabilities and services, ensuring Qlik adoption and consumption.
• Developing a Qlik focused analytics strategy for our clients
• Work with C-level customer stakeholders to ensure benefits are realized from the solutions Qlik consulting proposes.
• Leverage BI knowledge and team members to build and grow sustainable client relationships with value-driven insight focused on top-line revenue opportunities and cost saving efficiencies using analytics.
• Lead client engagements focused in the following areas: industry based, operating model development, business case development, data monetisation and associated horizontal analytic activities across sales and marketing, supply chain, finance, etc.
• Lead and manage teams to deliver high quality, clear, persuasive, and concise written presentations.
• Partner effectively with your colleagues within hybrid multidiscipline teams across ANZ and APAC delivering Business Intelligence solutions.
• Play an active hands-on role in delivering core Qlik Sense applications, as well as developing Advanced Analytics solutions independently, or as part of a team.

You will be successful if you are

• At least 5+ years of professional services experience preferably gained in a top strategy, management, or technology consulting organisation.
• Self-driven and results-oriented with strong desire to work with a world class product.
• Demonstrated track record of experience delivering IT business strategies at both a top-down level (business strategy) and bottoms up technology capability analysis to the Federal Government.
• Hands on experience in personally shaping and delivering advisory consulting services around the analytics agenda.
• A consultant with passion for BI and technical architecture
• Able to act as the Project Manager to define scope, estimate and ensure delivery rich solutions to our customers.
• Possess valid authority to work in Australia for Australian government security clearances.

You will thrive if you have

• Business Case Development, Gap Analysis, White Space analysis, blueprint and road map development related to customer's BI, Analytics or Big Data agendas.
• Experienced in shaping and delivering a variety consulting project related to BI, Analytics or Big data (strategy, implementation, and managed services)
• Broad knowledge of Big Data platforms, BI tools, and analytic applications
• Experienced in developing solutions utilizing commercial Business Intelligence/Analytics technologies (preferably Qlik technologies)
• Experienced in conducting advisory reviews and implementing recommendations.
• Strong project management experience
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
• Data Visualization and analytical skills
• Client focused with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experienced client facing consultant with basic or advanced knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, SQL programming, data warehouses, ETL, OLAP and BI tools.
• Commercially astute and geared to generate and deliver profitable business.
• Robust analytical thinker and problem solver
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must be comfortable with evolving requirements and priorities.
• Extensive experience working with senior executives.
• Accept limitations with practical creativity.
• Cultivate customers with unclear objectives.
• Love of collaboration to achieve impactful results for clients and Qlik.
