Job SummaryThe lab of Dr. Chang-Guo Zhan at the UK College of Pharmacy is seeking a post-doctoral scholar.
The postdoc is expected to produce various protein drug candidates through construction of the plasmids, site-directed mutagenesis, protein expression and purification in mammalian eukaryotic cells, and protein activity and stability analyses.
The postdoc is also expected to evaluate various drug candidates (proteins or small-molecule compounds) in vitro and in vivo (mice and rats etc.) for their activities relevant to clinical development.
Qualified candidates must have research experience in (1) construction of plasmids, site-directed mutagenesis, protein expression in mammalian eukaryotic cells, and protein purification; and (2) in vivo studies in mice and rats.
