Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Administrator with a strong background in compliance and document writing. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, stability, and efficient operation of our company's computer systems, networks, and servers. Additionally, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining compliance processes and documentation, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and maintain the company's computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary upgrades and patches to maintain system stability and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Create, update, and review technical documentation, such as policies, procedures, and guidelines, to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and document system specifications, configurations, and changes.

Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to compliance and system administration.

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and assist in troubleshooting complex issues.

Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are implemented and tested regularly.

Conduct regular security assessments and implement appropriate measures to safeguard systems and data.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven work experience of at least 5 years as a System Administrator with a focus on compliance and document writing. Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards, such as SOX, JSOX, CMMC2.0, ITAR, ITGC, ISO 27001, etc. Proficiency in system administration tasks, including server setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell. Monitor and take corrective action to security alerts such as CrowdStrike, ZoHo, Microsoft Security for M365, Azure, and Azure.Gov. Experience in creating and maintaining compliance documentation, such as policies, procedures, and guidelines. Familiarity with document management systems and tools. Solid knowledge of network protocols, security technologies, and best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
