About the Role

As the Data Analyst, you will play a critical 'first port of control' lead in unlocking consumers relevant insights and meaning in helping brands achieve marketing and communication goals. You will get 'close and personal' with consumers conversation chatters, digital footprints and behaviours, verbatims, reviews and many other data points you come across as you monitor, tracking and analysizing these information.

To deliver an effective analytics recommendations to your colleagues and clients, you need a keen eye to not only read the information but make sense of it. You will also need to display structural thinking when presenting data in the format of reports. This is important as your direct manager will use this information to brainstorm with you, and come up with sound, logical, and data-driven ideas/approach to solve our client's problems.

You should have strategic and operational mindset and the ability to work with teammates across various departments is also essential.

What You'll Do

Analysts play an integral role in all aspects of client engagements by:

  • Analyze data sources Client provides (Search, Social listening) in order to develop "insights-driven" content.
  • Performing desktop research and analyzing industry and competitor trends
  • Auditing all aspects of a brand - from heritage to strategy to visual identity to experience and marketing communications.
  • Conducting data gathering interviews and capturing the key points
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Designing and analyzing market research
  • Preparing and running simple project teams
  • Preparing material for proposals and sales meetings
  • Creating client presentations
  • Supporting in the development of thought leadership

What You'll Need

  • 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, or Marketing.
  • Digital & Social media enthusiast with an established understanding of the wider digital communications landscape
  • Demonstrate creativity in data analysis and understanding.
  • Flexible and able integrate in any type of working environment.
  • Business and service mindset
  • Out of the box thinking for recommendations and eye for innovation
  • Organized and autonomous. Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical skills
  • Good English communications
