Job Description:

Atlas Technical Consultants is looking for a self-assured, reliable project manager to represent the Owner in various construction projects. You should be able to work well within a team and also with external vendors. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of construction management as well as health and safety regulations. The top candidate should have an analytical mind; good organizational, time management and communication skills; and work well with others.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Represent the Owner in overseeing projects during the construction phase.
  • Review project plans and specifications for accuracy and constructability during the design phase.
  • Monitor construction site for compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Monitor construction for compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Manage Atlas inspectors assigned to the projects
  • Coordinate resources, interface with Contractor, Owner, County permitting authorities, subcontractors and others, to help resolve any issues that may arise to ensure successful construction projects.
  • Work with the Project Manager to ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget.
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis. This can be multiple jobs going on at one time. Prepare daily status reports on each job.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Determine scope, solicit formal written bids, and coordinate smaller jobs.
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field and/or equivalent working experience of a minimum of five years.

Other Miscellaneous Qualities:

  • Ability to travel 50%
