Marquee Sports Network has an immediate opening for a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer! We are looking for a creative and talented individual to join our team, supporting our all-IP production facility. 

As Broadcast Maintenance Engineer, you would:

  • Support live studio and remote productions, including Cubs games and pregame / postgame shows
  • Provide technical support for our operations, production, and office staff
  • Install and maintain cutting-edge broadcast video and audio equipment
  • Work on exciting challenges that require creative technical solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidates will be required to have at least two years of work experience in a studio, TV station, or mobile production environment, supporting broadcast equipment including:

  • Video cameras
  • Production switchers
  • Video/audio routers
  • Encoders
  • Audio mixers and microphones
  • Intercom systems

Experience with video editing software, SMPTE 2110, DANTE audio, and IP networking is desirable but not required. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is:

  • A self-starter who works well with others
  • Organized and a strong communicator
  • Eager to learn new technologies and expand their skill set

As a sports network, our work schedule depends on the teams we cover, and you would be expected to participate in a rotation that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
