A new job opportunity has become available as CHC Global Communication Lead, at Sanofi Consumer Healthcare.

Context :

We see the consumer healthcare market intensifying in competition, with the rise of vocal new & global pure players, moving away from what was previously viewed as “big pharma” space. Simultaneously Sanofi has announced in October ’23 its intention to separate at the earliest Q4 ’24 via the creation of a publicly listed entity headquartered in France. In this context, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary Strategy Communication Lead, to join our CHC communication team, and make a real impact on our entity narrative and how it will be deployed externally.

Your role :

As CHC Global Communication Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the company's narrative and related communication plans, with a primary emphasis on business stakeholders, and future talents. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Communication, CHC, you will be responsible for managing key messaging, and developing related communication strategies, with the support of a dedicated communication agency. This position requires a well-developed business understanding, with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Main responsibilities :

In high collaboration with Group Media Relations, Group Investor Relations, CHC Strategy and CHC Public Affairs, key responsibilities are:

  • Communication Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive external communication strategy that targets business stakeholders, investors, and future talent, aligning with the company's goals and objectives, and that involves selected members of the CHC leadership team.
  • Strategy/M&A/partnership related communications: Lead communication related efforts, in line with key messages of our equity story and CHC strategy.
  • Talent Attraction: Develop and implement strategies for attracting top talent, together with People & Culture Department, reinforcing our employer branding and targeted messaging to potential pools of recruitments.
  • Crisis Management: Support crisis communication plans specifically tailored to our business.
  • Measurement and feedback: Implement metrics and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-driven improvements.
  • Content Creation: Craft persuasive and impactful communication materials, presentations, emails, newsletters, videos, and other content to educate, inspire, and motivate our diverse audiences, with our agency support where needed.

About You

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in communication, of which some years in corporate communication at the headquarter of a listed company (or for the headquarter of a listed company if in an agency), with a focus on business and investor audiences, and with proven ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for business communication.
  • Strong leadership & project management skills, with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Crisis communication and issues management experience.
  • Well-developed business understanding, with experience in dealing with financial communication and investor relations communications.
