Job Summary

Sentara Medical Group has a full-time position for a NP/PA to join Sentara Family Medicine -N. Road located in Elizabeth City, NC. With seamless access to specialists and other healthcare services, our innovative team treats a diverse population in this well-supported clinic. Highlights of this Positions Include:

• Monday – Friday with 4 hours of dedicated admin time a week
• 8:00 – 5:00p; hours are flexible
• Provide routine care, annual wellness visits, pre-ops, etc. for ages 5 and up
• Call 1:14 weeks; includes a 24/7 nurse triage taking first call in evenings and weekends

Requirements for this position include Virginia-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and a current, unrestricted DEA license. Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - North Carolina, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Other/National, Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - Virginia, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - North Carolina, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Virginia, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - Virginia, Registered Nurse License (RN) - Nursing License - Compact/Multi-State License
