Blizzard is seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Overwatch team. As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing go-to-market strategy for the Overwatch 2 live service, using your deep understanding of the gaming industry and target audiences to drive product awareness, adoption, and loyalty for various seasonal campaigns and seasonal content.

This position requires a strategic leader who can drive go-to-market planning and blend creativity with data-driven decision-making to achieve measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with a variety of partners and teams to ensure the successful launches of Overwatch 2 seasonal campaigns.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for Overwatch 2 seasonal campaigns – prioritizing features and target audiences, defining unique value propositions for seasonal content, and integrating first-party, partnership, and esports initiatives into the plan.
  • Lead internal marketing cross-functional teams through seasonal planning – kicking off campaign development and ensuring alignment in product positioning and marketing efforts across the marketing funnel.
  • Oversee relationships with external partners to develop well-rounded marketing plans, creative assets, social media plans, and content to support key franchise initiatives.
  • Drive the continuous development of our player profiles – collaborating with consumer insights to identify key insights, trends, and opportunities to create tailored product messaging and feed into seasonal go-to-market plans and campaigns.
  • Partner with the Development and Product Management teams to fully understand the product slate, represent their vision in our marketing campaigns, and provide feedback as needed to shape future product development.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key gaming personalities and establish Overwatch 2 as a thought leader through strategic partnerships and participation in industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in product marketing within the gaming industry, with in-depth knowledge of the gaming, streaming and esports ecosystems.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit is a must, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Creative problem solver with a strategic approach and passion for gaming, Overwatch and the FPS category.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $105,120.00 - $194,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
