Summary

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients with various diagnoses as prescribed by a licensed physician.

Responsibilities

Teamwork - Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant works together to maximize results within the Department, as well as throughout the Medical Center. Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to work process change, makes decisions and takes appropriate actions to solve problems.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant

Experience

Preferred: 1 year experience

Certifications

Required: Florida LPTA License, BLS approved by the American Heart Association

If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. Required: Associate of Physical Therapy Assistant, Active U.S. military service members or veterans with any military service, training, or education verified and credited by an accredited PTA program is acceptable

Performs selected tests and measurements as directed by the therapist; maintains documentation on all treatments; assures appropriate equipment performance before each use.
