Job Responsibilities :
As the Global Retail Marketing Associate Director for RazerStore, you will play a central role in developing and executing retail marketing strategies for our own branded stores. Your primary focus is to enhance the in-store experience, drive sales, and achieve BU product sell-through goals. This position requires adept collaboration with cross-functional teams, both internally and globally, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach.
Global Retail Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive retail marketing strategies for our owned physical stores, ensuring a consistent brand experience globally
- Collaborate with regional teams to tailor strategies based on local market insights
In-Store Experience Enhancement
- Innovate and implement strategies to elevate the in-store experience, effectively showcasing our gaming hardware products and creating a compelling environment for customers
- Work closely with store visual merchandising, design and product teams to optimize layouts and displays for maximum impact
Retail Campaign Planning and Execution
- Develop and execute impactful retail marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic, increase brand awareness, and boost sales in our owned physical stores
- Coordinate the creation of marketing materials, in-store signage, and promotional activities
Community Event Planning
- Spearhead the planning and execution of community events within our retail spaces to engage gamers and build a sense of community
- Collaborate with the .com and Social teams to integrate online and offline community initiatives
Achieving BU Product Sell-Through
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the successful sell-through of Business Unit (BU) products in retail stores
- Monitor and analyze sell-through data, adjusting marketing strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Retail Planning teams to align product availability with marketing strategies
- Collaborate with Retail Operations teams to ensure a smooth campaign execution
Global Marketing Integration
- Coordinate with Global Marketing teams, including Social, Esports, and Community, to ensure alignment and integration of retail store marketing strategies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, branding, and operations, to align retail marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Leverage synergies between retail initiatives and broader marketing campaigns.
- Ensure seamless coordination between online and offline marketing efforts.
Data-Driven Analysis
- Utilize data analytics to measure the success of retail marketing campaigns and community events, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Retail Operations and Retail Planning teams to track sales performance and customer behavior in our owned physical retail spaces
Pre-Requisites :
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with 8 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in retail marketing, a focus on gaming hardware or consumer lifestyle brand will be a plus
- Strong understanding of creating and implementing retail strategies for owned physical stores.
- Familiarity with the gaming industry and a passion for gaming hardware A track record of fostering a positive and collaborative team culture, empowering team members to excel in their roles
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each is executed efficiently and meets established deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
