The Opportunity

  • Adobe Commerce Architect with responsibilities spanning planning, designing, managing architecture, and mentoring team while adopting best practices.

What you'll Do

  • Interfaces between clients, PMs, Business Solution Architects and Development team
  • Maps client's product roadmap against Adobe Commerce native vs custom features
  • Validates the architecture against requirements and assumptions
  • Verifies and validates development process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and methodology
  • Creates technical specification documents
  • Understanding of coding best practices and ensures highest standards of coding are adhered to by the development team
  • Leads/guides/mentors team members comprising senior and mid-level
  • Becomes responsible for the technical architecture, code quality, performance, security and scalability of enterprise level projects
  • Always represents Adobe (work product, communications, presence) professionally in both client and team situations
  • Articulates the architectural vision to clients, sponsors and stakeholders

What you need to succeed

  • Overall 14+ years of Experience
  • 10+ years of experience with Magento development with 6+ years of experience with Magento 2 development
  • Experience working with Adobe Commerce 2.4.x
  • 10+ years of experience with PHP development
  • 10+ years of experience with Mysql,
  • 6+ years managing technical and/or business teams in customer-facing function
  • Should have worked as an Architect for at least 3+ Adobe Commerce Implementations
  • Experience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, GraphQL)
  • Experience with Version Control Systems like GIT
  • Knowledge of different branching strategies
  • Be well versed with Adobe Commerce native features and respective configurations
  • Expert knowledge of Composer
  • Have experience integrating Adobe Commerce with other applications/tools
  • Familiarity with other ecommerce platforms
  • Have great design and problem-solving skills, passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale
  • Experience building and designing large-scale server applications in a distributed environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing technical specification documents.
  • Be able to lead integration with third party like payment gateways, analytical tools, marketing agencies Languages
  • Experience in documenting business processes and wireframing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc
  • Have strong presentation skills; skilled and effective at presenting to both technical and business audiences
  • Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Azure etc
  • Excellent database design and implementation skills
