Senior Process Engineer – Hydrogen (m/f/d)

As Senior Process / Chemical Engineer you will be responsible for project management and / or technical leadership in close cooperation with clients and our planning teams for projects with focus on hydrogen. Your location can be Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt or Madrid and can be partially remote through flexible, self-organized working.

Your role in our team

  • Collaborate in international multidisciplinary design and consulting teams
  • Support in the management and building of the team
  • Participation in tendering, contracting and commercial management for individual projects
  • Contribute as a process engineering specialist to solve business challenges
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentation of project deliverables
  • Represent Arup in direct contact with clients and their stakeholders in the development of project deliverables
  • Ensure the discipline delivers safe, sustainable, digitized, cost effective, compliant and technically competent process engineering deliverables

Your ideal Profile

Nobody is perfect and all career paths are different. We look forward to receiving your application, even if you don't meet all of our requirements:

  • University degree in chemical or process engineering or comparable qualification
  • 5+ years of process development experience in electrolysis, fuel cells, industrial gases, energy transition, oil and gas, carbon capture or similar chemical sectors
  • Leading function in national and international large-scale projects
  • Initial experience working with hydrogen and a good understanding of its production and use
  • Solid knowledge of applicable local and international standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements
  • Travel flexibility for occasional projects and customer assignments in Germany and abroad
  • Fluent Danish and very good English skills (for other locations the local native language instead of Danish)
