Position Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineer that will be an active member of an international professional service team, involve in the project delivery, providing technical support for system integration project both for Switching solution and ATM client software into customer environment with comprehensive Diebold Nixdorf product knowledge and customer requirement.
You are responsible for
- Work on software development, implementation and / or configuration in Professional Services projects.
- Capable to work in the Project Delivery as Developer, DevOp or System Integrator depend on the team requirement.
- Work with commercial and corporate developed products.
- Interface directly with customers or field personnel in developing customer specifications, requirements, and support.
- Improve software engineering methods and processes within his / her local area.
- Individual must be able to work in a team environment and deal well with customer support issues.
- Customize, integrate and/or develop complex SW components and systems.
- Utilize standard DN solution elements and development procedures and develop re-usable solution elements if required.
- Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot problems for other developers.
- Produce, update, review and modify implementation and operating documentation of SW solutions and changes according to DN SW documentation guidelines and in line with customer needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Services, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 4 to 7 years’ experience in software development.
- Have 3 to 5 years of experiences on Java Programming language
- Strong hands on for Java enterprise framework such as JEE, Spring, or any server based java framework.
- Strong hands on for Application server such as Jboss, IBM Websphere, etc.
- Strong hands on with Database Server such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.
- Experience in C++ is an advantage.
- Experience in Application Virtualization using Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, or other related products is an advantage.
- Fluent English communication skills and comfortable interfacing with external clients.
- Readiness to work onsite in the DN office or remotely in the customer office, depending on project demands.
- Experience in banking project and or ATM industry will be an advantage.
- Understanding of ISO8583 protocol, NDC/DDC, and TCP/IP concept will be an advantage
