Bosch Electrical Drives India Pvt. Ltd. (RBDI) was formed in April 2008 with the sole objective of dealing with electrical drives products from Robert Bosch GmbH, Germany and its affiliated and subsidiary companies in the rest of the world. It has been merged with Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd., Naganathapura w.e.f. March 2021 and this location is now called as RBAI/ChiP1.

ChiP1 location is engaged in application and trading of products for Thermal systems of both ICE / EV and manufacturing and sales of In-hub motors for e-Scooter application.

Plant is located at Oragadam, Chennai. Products include:

  • Engine cooling fan module - Trading
  • Blower motor for air conditioning - Trading
  • Blower controllers for auto climate control -Trading
  • Coolant pump and Valve -Trading
  • In Hub for electric 2 wheelers - Manufacturing

Job Description

Major Accountabilities – Business Analyst

  • Responsible for preparation of TBP, Current forecast, product costing and quotation process and controlling of inventory and fixed assets controlling management.
  • Responsibility for data quality (consistency and completeness), plausibility check of the reports, identification, and correction of errors
  • Track monthly financial reports/KPIs (TNS, EBIT, DSO, DIO and Pci & Pcd), analysing differences between the results and the original budget.
  • Capable of doing various variance analysis for TBP and Current Forecast
  • Analyses Early Warning and Risks & Opportunities organisation unit specific proactively
  • Challenge business functions targets and underlying assumptions
  • Identify root causes of problems and recommend controls or process improvements to address them.
  • Calculation of product pricing with standard pricing with regulative and subsequent actions in SAP
  • Responsible for P2P pricing
  • Provide accurate and timely costs and cash flow forecasting

Major Accountabilities – Business Partnering

  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tasks:
  • Planning of Steering P&L and relevant KPI’s
  • Scenario analysis
  • Identify risks and opportunities
  • Evaluation of deviations vs. target
  • Initiate measures to close potential gaps
  • Evaluate effectiveness of measures (incl. tracking)
  • Experience in preparation of Business case for localization (e.g. investment calculations, scenarios)
  • Should be conversant of with Project appraisal tools such as NPV, DCF, IRR etc.
  • Knowledge in leading controlling activities like CoPA, etc.
  • Support development of new business models (e.g. digital services)
  • Initiation and result interpretation of benchmarking activities
  • Steering business strategy based on product & customer profitability
  • Handling internal and external partners including audit, agencies, ROIN and support functions

Key Performance Indicators 

  • Securing of Business plan targets with robustness check and CF
  • On time business support in localization evaluation / delivering price quotations
  • On time delivery of monthly results & First Pass Yield
  • NWC monitory and steering to achieve the target

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a good recognised university.
  • Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, MBA- Finance from a reputed business school
  • Working experience in matrix role
  • International cross functional / project experience (preferred)

Desired Experience:

Overall 12-15 Years of experience with the following ;

  • Understanding of Business Planning, Current forecasting, Monthly reporting processes, Knowledge of long-term planning, cross functional processes, Driving / supporting business strategy
  • Plant & Product Controlling, Corporate controlling and International experience in controlling / cross functional
  • Financial Accounting, Controlling, Governance and Taxation
  • Knowledge of IT tools-SAP FI & CO
