Job Title: Business Development Manager Media

(Consumer Panel Services, Advanced Solutions, Activation & Media Solutions)

Purpose of the role:

GfK Consumer Panel Services as leading company in data and deep analysis of shopper behaviors’, invests in development of segment activation and media related products. We are deeply interested in hiring a motivated person, experience in media digital media ecosystem, who will support a business and product development on local market with close co-operation with the global team.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct contact and active sales to current and potential clients including advertisers, data integration platforms, media & digital agencies. 
  • Communication and promotion of available products, analysis, and services
  • Coordination of total process of service delivery
  • Concept and proposal, overall project management, client presentation, consulting and after sales service
  • Building awareness of existing solution, available data and analysis.
  • Organizing and running webinars and other events
  • Support and involvement in product development process.
  • Involvement and cooperation with product development and client service teams and experts
  • Cooperation with other colleagues in commercial and media hub teams on local and other markets

Key skills, qualifications and experience

  • Deep understanding of digital media ecosystem (incl. programmatic buying and social media)
  • Experienced and successful sales / consulting person within media business (3-5 years), e.g. media consulting, online publishers, media / digital agencies
  • Experienced in cooperating with media / digital agencies
  • Solid analytic/statistical understanding
  • Familiar with market research
  • Contacts to FMCG clients
  • Good understanding of the consumer and shopper
  • Familiarity with consumer panels will be highly appreciated
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, to external clients and within the organization.
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • advanced & savvy in MS office (PPT, Excel)
