PwC is one of the world’s leading consultancy firms, helping companies across a wide range of industries to deal with complex business challenges. Our Deals Valuation & Analytics team provides clients with support in business and financial decisions concerning company acquisitions, restructurings, incentive programs, arbitrations, deal analytics and other complex financial matters.

We have been experiencing an increased demand for our services and are now looking for a strong team member to develop and increase our Deals analytics services. This offers a great opportunity to an ambitious and curious expert.

We are looking for Senior Corporate Finance Consultants with 3-5 years of transaction related experience e.g. FDD, deals business intelligence and financial analytical work from one of the Big 4-firms or other prominent consultancy firms, banks, corporate finance departments or similar.

A career at Deals Valuation & Analytics will give you the opportunity to analyze companies from a business perspective as well as focus on complex financial matters. You will get the opportunity to work with a broad range of industries and sectors including private equity, the corporate and the public sector. It will suit you if you are eager to deep dive into the different industries and metrics, be creative in your approaches and navigate in the complex landscape.

You will be part of an expanding young and ambitious team of around 70 consultants focused on data analytics, financial modelling, company valuation, financial analysis which forms part of the larger unit PwC Deals/Corporate finance. You will work in teams as well as independently and you will face clients regularly. You are expected to be a driven project leader with well proven problem solving skills and a strong business acumen, eager to take on new challenges.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Financial analytical work to structure and analyze big sets of financial data. Connect diverse metrics into the financial quantitative process.
• Structural modelling to calculate the value of companies, options etc.(good user in Excel, Alteryx and /or other data programs)
• Delivery to clients in the form of well-structured reports, data books, business insights
• Client manager and a trusted advisor with a high level of service
• Project leading & product ownership
• Being a role model, supervising and coaching more junior staff members
• Deals analytics development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients, identify development areas and improve internal processes e.g. setting up analytics project methodology in tight cooperation across Deals teams
• Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen
• Keep up to date with business and economic development

Preferred skills

• Bachelor’s (requirement) or Master’s (meriting) degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Finance & Accounting, Engineering, Data Science or other programming education combined with Finance from a prominent business school 
• 3-5 years’ experience in financial analytical work, consultancy practice and project leading work, e.g. from a consultancy firm, bank, corporate finance department or similar 
• Strong analytical skills, ability to understand and navigate in complexity and a passion for problem solving, curious and growth mindset, friendly attitude
• Strong cooperation and self-leadership skills
• Interest and care for people 
• Advanced level of communication in English and Swedish
