Job Description

We're looking for a highly skilled Principal Frontend Engineer to drive our efforts in creating impactful, user-centric applications. In this role, you’ll build and enhance our React applications, as well as mentor engineers, leading them through complex technical challenges, and fostering an environment of innovation and excellence. 

With your expertise, you'll influence over 230 million users with cutting-edge technology and impactful solutions. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Lead the design and development of advanced, scalable client-side applications
• Solve complex problems with innovative and scalable solutions
• Write and maintain high-quality, functional Typescript and Javascript code
• Master and implement the latest technologies in JavaScript frameworks
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure code quality through TDD, continuous integration, and modern development practices
• Mentor and guide a team of frontend engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Drive frontend architectural decisions and set standards for coding and design
• Stay ahead of the curve with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in client-side development on large scales, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• You have expertise in JavaScript technologies including but not limited to React, Angular, and Vue
• Proficiency in modern development tools such as Webpack, Rollup, Parcel, and Babel
• Mastery in Typescript, ES6+, and other advanced frontend technologies
• You’re an independent worker, with excellent leadership skills and a passion for mentoring and developing talent
• Demonstrated experience in leading frontend architecture and design decisions.
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Delivery - an advantage
