Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Since the company's creation in Australia in 2011, Bigtincan has expanded globally to include the US, the UK, and many others.

The company is now growing its existing engineering team based in Glasgow city centre, and is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-paced product development team. In this role, you will work with an international cross functional team in a highly collaborative environment to meet user needs and business goals.

The successful candidate must live in Scotland within reasonable travel time of Glasgow city centre, and be able and willing to attend the office in person once a week as a minimum, and additional times as needed.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Architecture, design, development, testing and rollout of features on the distributed platform
• Contribute to green-field projects as well as modernising the existing stack
• Support the products built through their entire life cycle, including testing, production and incident management
• Contribute to key technical decisions through collaboration/feedback with peers and management ensuring that decisions align with the broader organisational goals and strategy
• Develop/Understand the big picture as well as focus on the details
• Learn, embrace and continuously grow our tooling, processes and engineering based culture
• Gain exposure to complex, distributed systems of our sales enablement platform

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, problem solving and organisation skills. 
• Commercial .Net, C# and Restful API development experience 
• Deep experience with multiple development frameworks, design patterns, build, deployment and automated testing tools
• Knowledge of at least one JavaScript based development framework 
• Understanding of CI/CD toolchain and Azure cloud development
