Job Description Summary:

The CSS Supervisor II is a qualified mental health professional (QMHP) who is responsible for ensuring that clinical support services are delivered in a trauma informed and person-centered approach. The CSS Supervisor II will ensure that services meet the standards of care as established by the Ozark Center and State and Federal regulations. The CSS Supervisor II will assess, plan, develop, and coordinate recovery services to promote the maximum level of independence with each client served. The CSS Supervisor II will teach and train staff to ensure that services are delivered with the highest standard of care. The CSS Supervisor II may be responsible for supervision of CSS Supervisor I, certified peer specialists, and other clinical staff as assigned. The CSS Supervisor II shall report to the Will's Place Clinical Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides supervision, oversight, and training with assigned staff (including community support specialists and/or certified peer specialists) both individually and in teams. Provides support and training for coworkers and teammates in providing trauma-informed, person-centered services to clients. 
  • Effectively prioritizes and assists with management of client needs and support, to include that referrals/screenings, psychiatric and medical treatment and crisis intervention services are provided.
  • Ensures billing and productivity expectations are met or exceeded for self and assigned staff as established by the Program Director.
  • Collaborates effectively with treatment team members and programs to support clients in achieving their chosen recovery goals.
  • Provides efficient assistance, support and training to internal and community referral sources to ensure client referrals into services are accurate and managed timely.
  • Ensures self and assigned staff completes and submits all required/requested training and HR compliance documents within timelines.
  • Ensures self and assigned staff complete all required documentation within established timeframes and according to quality standards set by State and Federal regulations, CARF certifications, and program expectations. 
  • Serves as back-up to assigned staff when these staff are unavailable (due to being with other clients, sickness, vacation, etc.) and/or in need of additional expertise.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching above shoulder level frequently, climbing and twisting occasionally
  • Requires a typical range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed
  • Requires repetitive use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulation
  • Requires standing, sitting, or walking for up to 8 hours or longer per workday
  • Requires regular use of a computer.
  • Requires ability to get in/out of vehicle to provide community-based services
  • TB Test upon hire.
