Position Summary

Responsible for the Business Development of Scientific Games' Retail Solutions to lottery accounts. Work with Retail Solutions Sales, lottery accounts, and retailers for deployment of Retail Solutions. Responsible for achieving customer success and deployment goals for assigned region.

Description:

  • Manage executive retailer network with installed solutions ensuring customer success.
  • The business owner is responsible for the strategic relationship between Scientific Games and corporate retailers.
  • Achieve annual financial goals of revenue and margin for assigned territory.
  • Identify retailers by jurisdiction and work with the retailers to deploy and utilize Scientific Games’ Retail Solutions.
  • Develop new Retailer relationships showing our solution value and thought leadership.
  • Conduct product demonstrations as part of the sales cycle and deployment.
  • Leverage customer feedback to work with our Product Management team to improve and evolve our solutions.
  • Conduct solution training as needed.
  • Provide management progress updates and adjustments to obtain goals. Collaborate across all lines of business as needed within Scientific Games.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to territory personnel as needed.
  • Attend and present at industry conferences as needed.
  • Responsible for contract compliance.
  • Worked with assigned RVP for account management.
  • Provide feedback to Product Management as needed.
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with clients and is responsible for overall client relationships.
  • Provide the customer with industry trends and information as part of the sales cycle.
  • Interact cross-functionally within the company, and participate in new product development forums, GR, Finance, and Senior Management.
  • Maintain relationships with other stakeholders e.g. retailers, and beneficiaries as needed.
  • Monitor contract obligations and procedures as well as customer expectations for compliance.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 12 to 15 years of job-related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Retail Industry.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Lottery Industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop, write, and manage business plans.
  • Excellent presentation skills for both small and large audiences.
  • Experience in marketing research and analysis.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts with outside vendors on Company and/or customer behalf. 
  • Ability to work effectively with senior-level Company management as well as lottery management and state government officials.
  • Be a self-starter and able to work well independently or in a group environment.
  • Travel required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
